This is a specific privacy policy for Foundry Group’s Talent Network. We at Foundry Group (hereinafter collectively referred to as “we”, ”us” , ”our” or “Company”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains how your personal information is used and shared. Please read this carefully. By using this site, or any service derived from it, you agree you have been informed about the use we do of personal data collected.

Foundry Group processes personal data as Data Controller for the purposes included in this policy.

3. Processing carried out by Foundry Group

The personal data you provide us will be incorporated into our files and we will only process your personal data as explained in this policy.

3.1 Automatized processing carried out by Foundry Group

When you visit our website, we automatically collect standard log information via Google Analytics such as location, type of device, and other information based on our legitimate interest to keep our website secure and prevent fraudulent attacks. Some providers may collect IP addresses too in order to provide their services and for security reasons as well. 

Also, through cookies, we collect details of your online behavior, provided you have given us your consent, either by continuing to browse or by explicitly accepting the use of cookies. 3.2 Processing of Job seekers´ data

For what purposes are we going to process your Job Seekers´ data?

When you register on our website talent network, we will ask you for at most:

  • a valid e-mail address
  • Name
  • Name of last employer
  • Most recent role/title
  • Current location and ideal work location
  • Professional background
  • Experience Level
  • LinkedIn URL
  • Reference(s)
  • Preference on size of company
  • Relevant documents, like a resume, that you choose to submit
  • Additional notes you choose to submit

The processing of your personal data is based on your freely and unambiguous consent, to connect you with companies and recruiters of our network, so we can help you to find the right job that fits your talent. You expressly authorize us to share the information you submit to companies in the Foundry network to and recruiters and other employers that we elect in our sole discretion to give access to the data.

We might contact you in order to offer new job opportunities in the future.

3.2.1 How long will we keep your data for?

We will process your data until the earlier of (a) you direct us to delete your data, or (b) we shut down the Talent Network. When we shut down the Talent Network, we will delete all personal information submitted to us.

3.2.2 With whom will we share your data?

We will provide your data to companies and recruiters to who, in our sole discretion, we give access to the Talent Network. We also provide personal information to our suppliers and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. For example, we use service providers to help to store your data or maintenance of the Talent Network.

3.3 Processing of Employers´ data

For what purposes are we going to process your data?

When you register on the Talent Network website, we may ask you for at most:

  • E-mail address
  • Affiliation
  • Company name
  • Name and last name
  • Location
  • Point of contact
  • Additional notes you choose to submit

The processing of your personal data is based on your freely and unambiguous consent. Considering you have received our invitation to join our talent network, we will process your data in order to connect you with the job seekers. 

3.3.1 How long will we keep your data for?

We will process your data until the earlier of (a) you direct us to delete your data, or (b) we shut down the Talent Network. When we shut down the Talent Network, we will delete all personal information submitted to us.

3.3.2 With whom will we share your data?

We provide personal information to our suppliers and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. For example, we use service providers to help to store your data or maintenance of the talent network.

3.4 Statistical processing

Additionally, we will process your data for statistical purposes that allow us to prepare reports, determine how many people visit our website and to improve our services. The reports that we generate will only contain aggregated data in a way that does not allow finding out the identity of the people.

4. Quality of the data

As a user, you must notify us of any changes or updates to the information you provide, to ensure that it is up to date and accurate. You can do this through by contacting us at talent@foundrygroup.com. We do not assume responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise from the misinterpretation or inaccuracy of the data provided. The user who provides information is the only one responsible.

5. Children under 14 years old

We do not process the personal data of children under 14 years of age nor do we direct our contents or information to them. If you are under 14 years of age, please do not give us personal information.

Therefore, in order to provide personal data to us, you guarantee that you are over 14 years of age and that you are entirely responsible for this declaration and for the access and correct use of the website subject to the conditions of use and current legislation, both national and international, as well as the principles of good faith, morals and public order, and with the commitment to diligently observe any additional instruction that, in relation to such use and access, could be given by us.

You may be required by us at any time, so that we can verify your age by providing a photocopy of your identity document. The lack of supply of this information in the term indicated will entitle the latter to suspend or cancel your profile or any processing of your data. Any abuse or violation of these conditions and, in particular, those that affect minors, must be reported immediately to us.

6. What rights do you have?

In order to control your data, at all times, you have the right to:

  • know if your personal data is being processed and, where appropriate, access it
  • rectify your personal data if it was inaccurate or incomplete
  • require us to delete your data if it is not necessary for the indicated purposes
  • require us to limit the processing of your personal data
  • transfer your personal data to another provider of your choice (portability)
  • oppose the processing of your personal data at any time
  • file a claim with the corresponding Data Protection Authority if you believe your rights have been infringed.

We do not assume any responsibility derived from other privacy policies or practices performed by websites that have been accessed through hyperlinks located on this website and that are not managed directly by any of the companies belonging to us. Therefore, we assume no responsibility in relation to the information contained in the websites of third parties or the consequences that may arise derived from such information. 8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time in accordance with our own criteria or motivated by a legislative change. We will notify users of the changes produced in this privacy policy before they are made. If a user is not satisfied with the changes, they must desist in the use of this website. The use of this website after the changes implies the acceptance of the same by the user.
